Graduated from the University of Akron with her BSN and obtained her RN in 1998. She has over 20 years’ experience in long-term care as Assistant Director of Nursing, Wound Care Nurse, Infection Control Nurse, and Staff Development Nurse. Her experience includes training as a Medical-Surgical Nurse and Nursing Supervisor of the Skilled Unit at Parma Community General Hospital. She has been a certified Infection Preventionist, American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR Instructor, Program Coordinator/Instructor for the STNA Training Program, and is an inducted member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
