Graduated from Lorain County Community College and obtained her RN in 2006. Her clinical experience has been in Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Foundation/Lakewood Hospital and University Hospital/St. John Medical Center. She trained as a Trauma Nurse (TNCC,) American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Instructor, NIHSS stroke assessment, and Injury/Trauma Prevention. Ms. Riley taught numerous municipal fire department paramedic classes in Pediatric Illness, Pediatric Trauma, Bariatric emergencies, and Legal Documentation. She maintains certifications as EMS CE Instructor and American Heart Association Instructor for Basic Life Support and Hearts aver CPR and is a Member of the Academy of Forensic Nursing. As a Nurse Consultant, Erin has assisted in the successful defense of matters involving nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, class actions, and criminal cases in District and Federal Court.
